It was after an extremely tiring session of tennis in the mid-morning that we decided to reward ourselves with a good lunch... read in the newspapers that Secret Recipe (which is well-known for its fabulous cheesecakes) apparently also dishes up some award-winning food (some kinda excellent food award 2004 thingy)... and so we went...

AND BOY WAS IT GOOD!!!!

we ordered the two award-winning dishes - the irish lamb stew and noodles in tom yum kung... im not exactly a big fan of lamb stew but this lamb stew was so excellently done, with vegetables and potatoes in the stew and served with a single bun on a separate plate (to lap up every single bit of the delicious stew) that i finished every single morsel of it *burp*... the tom yum kung, on the other hand, was a tad lacking - the bite of the tom yum was there but a little too sourish for our palates but nonetheless the servings were generous with two HUGE tiger prawns and lots of mushrooms in it.

verdict - go for the irish lamb stew! go for the irish lamb stew!!! 3 hours later and i'm still thinking about it!!! heh
